Allies and Morrison

About

Allies and Morrison is an architecture and urban planning practice with a reputation for well-crafted buildings and thoughtful place making.

Based in London, our vibrant Bankside studios nurture the creativity and expertise of our architects, urban designers, modelmakers, furniture, graphic and interior designers. We also have a studio in the heart of Cambridge, overlooking the Mill Pond.

Working across the UK and internationally, with projects in India, Africa, the Middle East and North America, we have 41 RIBA Award winning projects and have twice been nominated for the Stirling Prize - for the revitalisation of the Royal Festival Hall in 2008 and for New Court Rothschild Bank with OMA in 2012. We were also awarded the 2015 AJ120 Practice of The Year.

Other projects of note include the Royal Observatory Greenwich and extension to the Horniman Museum, office buildings at Bankside 123 and the BBC's Media Village at White City, and new housing projects ranging from St Andrew's Bromley-by-Bow to the repurposing of Arsenal Stadium as Highbury Square. We also work extensively in higher education with a number of schemes at the University of Cambridge and for institutions such as Imperial College London to the University of the Arts London.

As urbanists, we continue to enjoy leading long-term urban masterplans at King's Cross and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London; while overseas, creating contextually sensitive designs for compact urban centres in Doha, Beirut and Toronto.
