About
The Council of Mortgage Lenders is integrated into a new trade association, UK Finance.
As UK Finance, we represent mortgage lenders in the UK. Our role is to bring lenders together on matters of common interest, and to speak for the collective mortgage industry. We do not lend mortgages, and we are not a regulator or a consumer advice service.
The new organisation takes on most of the activities previously carried out by the Asset Based Finance Association, the British Bankers’ Association, the Council of Mortgage Lenders, Financial Fraud Action UK, Payments UK and the UK Cards Association.
